Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT course) is a 2 year diploma course done after class 12 for skill development in preventing, diagnosing and treating diseases with the help of clinical lab tests. DMLT course fees are INR 2 Lakhs to INR 4 Lakhs.
However, some colleges also offer DMLT courses after higher secondary examinations. DMLT Admissions depend on the merit list of the qualifying exams.

Admission to Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology : After publishing the results of +2 Science Annual Examinations, the State Director, Medical Education & Ttraining, Odisha invites online application from interested candidates. After shortlisting the eligible candidates, the DMET, Odisha, directs the individual candidate for choosing their choice colleges from the drop down list. (DMLT) is based on the merit list of the qualifying examination. Applications can be submitted either online or offline by visiting the college.
The DMLT course minimum qualification required is 10+2 with a minimum of 45%-50% aggregate and PCM/B as a compulsory subject. Some colleges do offer DMLT Course after the 10th. However, some institutions conduct common entrance tests for admissions into the program.
DMLT Admissions may vary from college to college. If you are applying for a particular institute, you can visit the official website of the respective institute. The dates for admissions may vary from college to college. Usually, entries start in the month of May and end in July.
